The Lisbon Project's internal website was intended to help volunteers find information and get oriented as they joined. As the organization grew, gaps appeared, volunteers had difficulty locating what they needed, and there wasn't a clear starting point for someone new. This case study walks through the redesign of that site: the research into how volunteers were experiencing it, the navigation and content structure that came out of that research, and the testing process used to validate the changes.
